Earlier this year Onkyo said they would be promoting this player as a very good DVD player that also played HD DVDs. They don't really say that in this release. When they say "one of the first" to offer AAC bit-stream over HDMI, I wonder if that means the Toshiba players will also have this feature. A lot of people have been waiting for this one.
