PlayOn now supports Netflix

PlayOn now supports Netflix

PlayOn logoNetflix Watch Now movies are now available through PlayOn, a media server for the Sony Playstation 3.

Media Mall Technologies released their newest version of PlayOn which will integrate with your Netflix Watch Now queue. It also now supports 480p video from Hulu, and Hulu User Queue support.

PlayOn is available as a free trial download for 30 days and a one-time $30 charge for continued use. It installs on your Windows PC and streams YouTube, Hulu and now Netflix video to a networked PS3. I have tried this out and it works pretty good. I would recommend the PC and PS3 be Ethernet connected as a wireless connection tends to make the video drag.

If you have opted in to the new Silverlight media player on Netflix, PlayOn will not work for you.
