Black Friday success story

So what did I walk away with after the Black Friday sale madness? Here are a few of the deals that I was able to jump on.
Panasonic TH-42PX60U 42″ plasma HDTV, $999.99 from Bestbuy
Quest Mountain Bicycle, $39.88 from Wal-mart (no picture online)
4 fold-up quad chairs, $3.99 each from Sports Authority (like this)

So what did I miss out on? Bestbuy also had a Toshiba laptop going for $250 out the door and a Panasonic mini-DV camcorder for $129. I was unable to snatch up these deals due to the ensuing madness and massive amount of shoppers. Did you score any hot deals on Black Friday? If so, let us know by replying below!

  1. I got 2 kids and an elderly lady. It’s all about using your mass to your advantage. Keep your center of gravity low, build up what momentum you can, and use the element of surprise when possible.

It was a good day, but I can do better. I tried practicing in the off season at Chuckie Cheese on weekends, it just wasn’t the same.

If you are interested, we could get some other city leagues going on, have a little versus battle. Helmets are about $200, but it costs more to put your own team emblem on.

Also, if you live in West Phoenix, we are having tryouts for the West Phoenix Todler Toasters next weekend. Let me know because we have to coordinate it with the little league games.

  2. I just can’t do the “black friday” thing. As my old saying goes (I made this one up myself and it rings true time and time again) “lazyness is expensive” Ant Y

  3. look up the word “disease” in the dictionary, I don’t think it applies in this instance.

  4. I think it applies. Here is one definition pulled from

“3. any harmful, depraved, or morbid condition, as of the mind or society: His fascination with executions is a disease.”
