Zoho Projects: Online Project Management Software

Zoho Projects: Online Project Management Software

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Zoho Projects. All opinions are 100% mine.

Zoho Projects Logo squared Zoho Projects asked us to take a look at their online Project Management software. Coincidentally, I already had previous experience with Zoho Projects, as I had been added to an online project portal to help organize an Android tech event in my area, which never actually got off the ground.

Let’s see what the company itself has to say about their online project management solutions:

Zoho Projects is the integrated project management solution that simplifies and speeds every project, every time. Whether your team is 3 or 30, you can make sure everyone’s on the same page and working toward the same goal. The result is coordinated, unified process that slashes project time, saves money, and enhances project quality. Start working smarter, faster with Zoho Projects today.

In addition, they highlight the following benefits & features:

  • Organize your tasks
  • Track time with ease
  • Simplify your work
  • Fix bugs fast
  • Analyze with reports
  • Manage projects on the go

With my brief experience using Zoho Projects, I found it to be easy to use and very helpful for collaborating with others and organizing a team project. Tasks and task lists are easy to create, edit and update. Team discussions are easy to start and participate in via the built in forums feature.

Project spaces allow for document uploading, allowing for easy reference to all documentation associated with a project to be accessible in one convenient space. I uploaded a PDF and a Word document for testing. The PDF was easily viewable via the Zoho viewer. The word document could be viewed and edited all within the Zoho Projects website via the built in Zoho Writer.

Below, you can view a few screenshots of the Zoho Projects online interface. The first screenshot shows the traditional interface and the second one shows the “New and Simpler 4.0” interface.

Personally, I preferred the older interface (top image) as I feel it provides you with more options on the Dashboard/homepage and less clicking to find what you need, but interface preference is in the eye of the beholder.

If you’re looking for an online project management space to collaborate and coordinate your next project, give Zoho Projects your consideration. They do offer a free plan that contains a lot of the basic project management features that you’d expect, but the more advanced features that power users will want require a monthly or annual subscription fee.
