If you have been following my posts, you might have noticed that I recently wrote about a new movie from Mike Judge titled Idiocracy, which was just released to DVD. Mike Judge is the man behind the film Office Space, one of my favorite movies of all time. I decided to check out Idiocracy because it was co-written and directed by Mr. Judge.
Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed by Idiocracy. The movie was certainly “interesting” and possibly “humorous”, but I just did not find it to be very funny. I rarely laughed through out the movie and I find that it grossly pales in comparison to Mike Judge’s previous film. As of this post, the average rating of Idiocracy from users on the IMDB is only 6.4/10. If you are expecting an Office Space style comedy, you will be extremely disappointed. Hopefully Mike Judge can bounce back and deliver a good film next time around, if there is a next time…

Thanks. I really hope Mike Judge releases another movie in the future that is comparable to Office Space. And of course, an Office Space sequel would be warmly welcomed.
