NAD announces Blu-ray player
The latest entry in the high-end Blu-ray market comes from the Canadian manufacturer NAD. Modeled T587, the player will sell for about $1,500.
The T587 is a profile 2.0 player for BD-Live. It does not have multi-channel analog outputs, but does decode all the advanced codecs, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS:HD Master Audio, outputting bitstream or multi-channel PCM over its HDMI 1.3 digital connection.
NAD is also claiming this player will have the fastest load time of any Blu-ray Disc player on the market now at under a minute.
